Constructed using a one-piece aluminum frame for rugged durability, this Casting Reel features high strength solid brass Speed Gears and a P2 Super Pinion bearing supported pinion gear. This provides precise alignment, resulting in smoother operation and extended gear life. It also features a dual cast control system that utilizes both an external click-dial magnetic brake, plus four individually disk mounted internal centrifugal brakes, allowing anglers to make finite adjustments for superior casting distance. 
To stop hard charging fish, Lews Fishing KVD LFS Casting Reel is outfitted with a rugged carbon fiber drag system that provides 20lbs of stopping power. An anodized bowed aluminum 95mm reel handle with Combat Grip paddle knobs also give anglers additional power to crank big fish to the boat.
